From the President: Alyssa's Trail NotesAs president of the ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter, I’m excited to share insights, updates, and inspiration to guide us through our professional development journey together. Much like navigating a trail in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, leadership and learning come with peaks, valleys, and plenty of opportunities to grow. I'll share what I'm reading and learning but I can't wait to hear from you what also lights you up and what you're learning this year. In these Trail Notes, you’ll find key updates about our chapter, tips to elevate your skills, and reflections to help you reach new heights in your career. Dear ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter Members, As we step into 2025, I am thrilled and honored to serve as your ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter President. Our chapter has a rich history of empowering talent development professionals like you to grow, connect, and make an impact—and I am excited to build on that legacy together. For those who may not know me, my name is Alyssa Willet, and I’ve been a proud ATD member since 2021. I’ve spent over a decade in the talent development field as a certified Gallup CliftonStrengths® coach, Certified Professional Coach, and leadership trainer. My journey in this field began with a spark—training 400 employees on CliftonStrengths—and it’s led me here, to this incredible community of passionate professionals. This year, our vision for the chapter is centered on growth, connection, and belonging:
We can’t do this without YOU. Whether you’re new to the chapter or a longtime member, your energy, ideas, and participation are what make this community so special. I invite you to join us at our upcoming events, connect with fellow members, and take full advantage of everything our chapter has to offer. You can stay connected with us by:
I also want to acknowledge the incredible work of our 2024 Board of Directors. Their leadership has been instrumental in strengthening our chapter, and I am grateful for the foundation they’ve built. We have had exceptional growth in our membership this year and the work they did set us up to achieve our 2025 goals! Thank you for your time and dedication. I’m equally excited to collaborate with the 2025 Board of Directors, a group of talented and dedicated leaders who are passionate about making this year extraordinary for our members. I look forward to seeing you at our events, hearing your stories, and working together to elevate talent development in the Rocky Mountain region. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead! Warmly, Alyssa Willet. M.Ed. CHapter incentive program (chip)
